My plans and goals as the new Commissioner for San Andreas Highway Patrol  (Read 570 times)
Greetings officers,

As your newly appointed Commissioner of the San Andreas Highway Patrol, I want to tell you a little about my goals and plans for the department. First off, many of the activities that the old Command had will still take place (see http://forum.sapdfr.advanced-gaming.org/index.php?topic=209.0 for info). However, there will be some minor changes as well as some new things brought forward.

First off, I will be changing the requirement to use Teamspeak to using Discord. In addition, having a microphone WILL BE required, as we will be using the voice channels for dispatch duties (reporting in traffic stops, requesting license plate checks, when on scene keeping dispatch updated). We want to avoid having our activities flooding central.

The vehicle requirement (downloading and installing mods), will be slightly changed so that even people with lower end PC's can use them. Please download and install from this thread (thanks @SCPD ) http://forum.sapdfr.advanced-gaming.org/index.php?topic=460.0

In addition, when on patrol, you MUST wear this (http://www.mediafire.com/file/53v1bxhx2k67a4i/RCMP_POLICE_SKIN_ROAD_TRAFIC_%5BBETA_V1.0%5D.rar) high-visibility skin. I know it says RCMP on the skin, but its the only skin I could find with a high visibility vest (that wasn't orange of course). The reason for this requirement is officer safety. You are going to be working on the highway, where the risk of being struck by motorists when outside your vehicle will be greater. Studies show when officers wear high-visibility clothing, their safety is greatly enhanced as motorists can see them better.

With admin approval (I'll DM @Blast3r on discord regarding this), I would like to do "I'm a civilian" type patrols, similar to what is shown here:
, just to make things fun and interesting.

On a final note, if you are interested in joining SAHP, please direct-message me on discord to discuss how to get involved.

Always on duty,
Greenops011

Right now, the only vehicle requirement is this Low-poly ford crown victoria https://forum.ls-rp.com/viewtopic.php?f=220&t=505703

You have to be a member of their forum to view their GTA Modding section, FYI.

Well do you think you could make a low-poly SAHP skin for us? Even if its only a skin on one of your SA Default Modified Squads? I mean I would just upload the vehicle that was in that thread to my mediafire, but I want to respect the creators copyright. The only reason I uploaded the RCMP skin was because both the websites it was on previously (gtapolicemods.com and GEM) are no longer online, and there is no way to contact the creator

I have some ISP and DOT MVE vehicles in the works that you could reskin once they release, using the same templates as the default modifieds. I don't have any intention to do CHP lookalikes as I don't care for their design whatsoever. I was just mentioning that as some people may not be aware they would have to register for another website.

I actually did make a GTA V stainer SAHP patrol car for GTA SA with Nick's template during a project called Project V but I dunno if this file is lost in gtapolicemods.

I will however be happy to recreate new cars in low poly for SAHP, as long as it has a template.

EDIT: Fortunately I made a backup on Project V when I discontinued its development. SAHP stainer is still here along with other cars converted from GTA V by Nick and others that I need to find credit for. I will send pm link to you @greenops011.

EDIT 2: Turns out I also have SAHP Vapid Interceptors as well. The Interceptors are just at the 2MB mark while the stainer is around 3MB.
I'll get onto making a separate SAHP pack for SAHP group here if that is okay with @greenops011 tho prob only low-med poly on cars

Posted some screenshots for the SAHP cars here

updated first post with the new SAHP pack from SCPD

Going to change the vehicle mod requirement. I would appreciate it if you would use the SAHP mod pack when in game, but some people really just don't want to replace the car mods they have, so I will say its not as important. The high-visibility skin mod however IS still required.

That being said, I can understand some people not wanting to use the RCMP skin, so Heres a pack that Greenie made, and you can use the high-vis skin from it if you so choose.
