Increase bullet damage?  (Read 245 times)
Just another feature that needs community's feedback before we start working on it.

So, in general, what do you guys think about increasing damage for bullets to increase the realism in the server as well as put more challenge into shootouts?

In general, M4 would take like 1-2 shots to either kill or get killed, both peds and the players would get the weapon damage increase which could result into more fun shootouts.

Pros:

  • Improved realism
  • More challenge in some callouts & shootouts
  • Players would be a lot more careful when it comes to approaching armed suspects and so on

Cons:

  • Some players could be annoyed by getting killed easily
  • Small chance of players ignoring callouts due to this (but then again, no harm is done by that)

Well since most players have immunable cop cars and armor gonna vote yes. Plus good idea if paramedics are added in the future in 1.1.

I definately support this, as it stands right now, I never go into a call like the "armored truck robbery" or armed suspect, without a secondary unit on scene. I will wait just outside the area where it says 10-23 until another unit can back me up. I think this will force others to take the same approach which will be a lot better

Agreed. SAPDFR is aimed for police simulation and of course a shootout should be a deadly. Having players to rely on backup from other players before engaging makes it real interesting.
