[Suggestion] - Player driven towtrucks.  (Read 783 times)

Suggestion for (MTA, Forum, website): MTA.

Suggestion: We all know how much of a hassle towtrucks are sometimes. Why not let players get some extra XP by letting them drive towtrucks and impound vehicles?

Why should this be added?: Good towtruck system = world peace. Also a great way for cadets to get XP, and of course why not other people.

Anything else you'd like to add?:

This somewhat sounds like more RP-ish to me unless you wanna consider moving parked cars :P

Going to deny this. The sync from MTA is too terrible to tow any vehicle, they glitch out, fly over the entire map and just annoys everyone. Once MTA creates a fix for this, we'll be able to implement this.

Thread unlocked as I am bringing this suggestion into a possible option.

We had a towtruck system driven by players in FRMP before. And yes the MTA sync sucked, with floating cars everywhere.

Anyways if the player towtruck system is replacing the AI system like how the transport system replaces its AI counterpart then I will heavily say no :P

The script would check if the unit is in distance of 1000 and then call it, otherwise the NPC will spawn instead. That way players will be a lot less likely to deny a call.

This is jut my opinion but i do not agree with this suggestion because Where are you supposed to drop the car? By the way to avoid this just leave the scene and they'll arrive.

If towtrucks are added, prob at a towtruck impound lot where cars would disappear if you drive into that area getting exp, like taking in ur own suspect into the station
